What role does AI play in the lives of students? Today, many people use AI tools to make their studies easier. For many, AI is a faster search engine that offers more comprehensive help, allowing them to save time researching or thinking about essays. Platforms like ChatGPT that help write essays, generate ideas or solve complex problems. It's not just a helping hand, it's become a real working method.

Students are relying on these technologies to save time and improve their results, with 46% of students surveyed noticing a difference in their marks compared with only 25% who noticed nothing. They told us that they most often use grammar correction software to polish up their homework or applications that summarise research articles and reformulate their writing. Although 66% confirmed that AI did not always give the right answer, this would explain why 71% of students would not be prepared to invest in paid AI features. However, AI raises a question of pedagogical ethics: AI detector tools are used by profesor, and 25% of students have already been caught by these new control tools.

Faster and with greater access to information, AI has easily won over many students, and AI is also at the heart of everyday life, as with Iphones and their photo AI or robot hoovers. Here again, we are seeing a spike in the use of AI in personal life, even though many students are not aware that they are using it.

Will AI be the future of students? Well, for students it's necessary to learn how to use it and then understand how it works and delay its use by students until at least university.

In a sense, AI offers incredible access to knowledge, but it could also diminish the ability to carry out in-depth research. In short, the use of AI is only just beginning to transform the educational landscape. It remains to be seen how this will shape the future of students.
