(His gloved hands tremble as he clutches a scalpel. The patient on the table, covered by a bloodstained sheet, breathes shallowly. Monitors beep irregularly.)

NURSE EVANS (whispering, fearful)
"Doctor, we should stop… Something’s wrong. The anesthesia isn’t holding."

(Dr. Carter ignores her, sweat dripping from his forehead. He makes the first incision. The moment the scalpel touches the skin, the lights flicker violently.)

PATIENT (rasping, eyes wide open)
"Why... are you doing this to me?"

(Nurse Evans screams. The patient wasn't supposed to be awake. The anesthesia should have worked. But something is keeping him conscious—something unnatural.)

Scene 2: The Unseen Hands

(As Carter reaches into the patient’s open abdomen, his hands suddenly freeze. His expression twists in horror.)

DR. CARTER (whispering, horrified)
"What... what is that?"

(Inside the body, something moves. A black, writhing mass slithers around the organs, pulsing like a heartbeat. Then, a skeletal hand—too long, too thin—grasps his wrist from inside the patient.)

NURSE EVANS (shrieking)
"Doctor! Pull your hand out!"

(But it’s too late. The black mass spreads up Carter’s arm, twisting it unnaturally. He screams as his bones snap under an invisible force. The patient sits up, eyes glowing red, a wide, inhuman grin splitting his face.)

PATIENT (laughing, voice layered with many tones)
"You should never have opened me up, Doctor."

(The lights burst. Darkness consumes the room. Carter’s screams echo, then abruptly stop.)

Final Scene: The Empty Room

(The camera fades back in. The operating table is empty. Blood is smeared across the floor, leading to the door, which swings slightly open. The flickering light above steadies, revealing a single word scratched into the metal table:)
