Hi, I’m Mike! Welcome to my channel. Today, we’re building a gaming PC from scratch. We’re going to cover every single component, from the brain to the peripherals. This tutorial is perfect for beginners and experts alike. Get ready for some fun and clear instructions—with a dash of humor along the way. Let’s dive in!
Let’s start with the Central Processing Unit, or CPU—the brain of your computer. It processes all tasks, from running your games to editing videos. Imagine it as the conductor of an orchestra, making sure every instrument plays in harmony. For our build, I recommend the Intel Core i Nine Fourteen Nine Hundred K. It features twenty-four cores and thirty-two threads. That means it can handle lots of tasks at once, just like you on a busy morning. With speeds boosting up to six gigahertz, this CPU is both fast and reliable. Trust me, this powerhouse will never let you down.
Next up is Random Access Memory, or RAM. Think of RAM as your computer’s short-term memory. It holds all the data you’re actively using, so your system can switch between tasks smoothly. In our build, we’re installing thirty-two gigabytes of DDR Five RAM clocked at six thousand megahertz. This ensures that whether you’re gaming, streaming, or browsing, everything runs without a hitch. Picture it like having a super-organized desk—everything you need is right there, with no clutter slowing you down.
Now, let’s talk about storage. In the past, many used Hard Disk Drives (HDDs), but these are much slower compared to Solid State Drives (SSDs). For our system, I’m opting for a two-terabyte NVMe Gen Four SSD. With read speeds reaching up to seven thousand five hundred megabytes per second, your computer will boot up almost instantly and load your games in a flash. Say goodbye to long waiting times and hello to instant action!
When it comes to gaming, the Graphics Processing Unit, or GPU, is key. It renders all the images and effects that make your games look spectacular. For an immersive experience, we’re choosing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX Forty-Nine Hundred. This GPU comes with twenty-four gigabytes of GDDR Six X memory, supports real-time Ray Tracing, and uses DLSS Three technology. It can even handle eight K resolution. In short, it’s a monster that brings your games to life with stunning detail and smooth performance.
With all these high-performance components, keeping things cool is essential. We install a three-hundred-sixty-millimeter All-in-One water cooling system to maintain optimal temperatures. Think of it as your PC’s personal air conditioner, ensuring the CPU stays chill under pressure. No overheating means longer life and steady performance.
A complete gaming setup isn’t just about the internal parts. You need great peripherals too.
Monitor: I suggest a twenty-seven-inch display with four K resolution and a one hundred forty-four Hertz refresh rate. This gives you crisp, smooth visuals that match the power of your GPU.
