A Terrifying Birthday Detour
Description
Script Vidéo
The harsh ball of orange fire rose behind the half-dead of skeletal trees. I woke up feeling nauseous and a bit numb in both legs. Drastic winds were blowing swiftly and swaying down trees. I was all alone at home. I spilt half my tea. And in no time I received a phone call from my best friend Mia, who was so excited to invite me for her birthday party to a very distant town. Since I had not planned my day well, I decided maybe I should not let down of my friend's invitation. It was a walking distance from my home so I decided to take a shortcut through a forest. Early morning birds were singing melodies high above tall trees. After I had travelled about half a mile through the forest, I suddenly took a step and stopped, I could not utter a single word. Beads of perspiration were now forming twin rivulets down my forehead, under my armpit and behind my back. My heart was now thudding heavily as if it was about to escape from its ribcage. The figure standing right in front of me shocked me to the bone. When I came to realize the place that I was, was known to be full of robbers. I snaked down a narrow path like a frightened hare. I knifed across a stream and crying for help but nobody was there to save myself from this stranger. The person shot a warning shot into the air but this could not deter me. I kept running until I could not hear the man's footsteps behind my back. I turned around to look and I could watch him from a distance as he hobbled back holding a rifle in his hands through the dark forest. Worse still the man was a fugitive. At some moments I thought I was already dead or It was just a dream but nobody could even wake me up. I was about to kick the bucket but I survived by the skin of the tooth. I returned home and tried to explain the whole story to my best friend who was so furious that I did not turn up for her important day. But it was all in vain.
