If you ever find a tunnel in Siberia that looks recently used… don’t go inside. People say it was abandoned decades ago, but the lights still work. I walked in just a few steps—and the entrance behind me was already gone. The tunnel stretched longer than it should, like it was breathing. Every few seconds, the lights flickered… and the walls looked closer. Then I saw someone standing far ahead. Not moving. Just… waiting. I called out—but my voice echoed back wrong… like someone else said it first. The figure slowly started walking toward me. That’s when I realized— it wasn’t coming closer. It was getting clearer. Like it was already right in front of me… and I just couldn’t see it properly. The lights went out for one second. And in that second— something grabbed my face. When the lights came back… the tunnel was empty. No footsteps. No sound. Just one thing left behind— a fresh set of footprints… leading deeper inside. I tried to run back— but the entrance wasn’t there anymore. Only more tunnel. And more footprints. And then I heard it… my own voice… from somewhere ahead… whispering, “Don’t worry… you’ll get used to being the one inside.”
