The Wisdom of Solomon: A Divine Gift
Description
Script Vidéo
After David’s reign, his son Solomon became king. One night, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream and said, “Ask what I shall give you.” Solomon did not ask for riches or long life, nor for victory over enemies. Instead, he asked for understanding— a heart to judge the people with wisdom. This pleased the Lord. God granted him not only wisdom, but also riches and honor. Soon after, Solomon demonstrated this wisdom in a dispute between two women claiming to be the mother of a child. His judgment revealed the truth, and all Israel recognized the wisdom given by God. This reading comes from the First Book of Kings, chapter 3. It reminds us that when wisdom is sought above all else, many other things are added in their proper place.
