A couple opened the door to two children standing in the snow… their eyes were completely black. This happened in 1960s Chicago. A woman and her husband were asleep when loud banging on the door woke them up. Standing outside were two children, a boy and a girl, underdressed for the snow, staring down at the ground and refusing to make eye contact. Something felt off. They asked, “Where are your parents?” The kids answered, “They’ll be here soon" Even though it felt wrong, the couple let them inside. The woman went to make cocoa while her husband sat with the kids, trying to learn more. But their cat, who was usually friendly, hid under the table and growled at them. When the wife handed the cocoa over, the children finally looked up. Their eyes were entirely black. The couple froze in terror the moment they saw their faces. A moment later, the kids whispered, “Our parents are here.” At the edge of the driveway stood two tall men in black suits. The children walked toward them. The front door slowly creaked shut on its own, and the house finally fell silent. The next morning, police found the couple shot to death inside their home. No fingerprints. No sign of forced entry.
