Don't Trust the Replacement
Description
Script Vidéo
If you ever work a night shift⊠donât trust the replacement. I work nights at a petrol station just outside Milton Keynes. Dead quiet after midnight. No customers. Just lights buzzing. At exactly 1:47 AM⊠I get a text from my manager: âHey, weâve sent someone to cover your break. Be nice, heâs new.â We donât get break cover. Ever. Ten minutes later⊠the door opens. A guy walks in wearing the same uniform as me. Same logo. Same badge⊠But I canât read his name. Itâs like the letters keep shifting. I ask, âYou covering me?â He nods. Doesnât speak. Doesnât even look at me. Just walks behind the counter⊠and stares at the CCTV. So I step outside for my break. But something feels off. I check my phone again. That message? Gone. Completely deleted. I go back inside. Heâs still there. Standing completely still. Watching the monitor. Not blinking. I look at the CCTV screen. Every camera shows an empty shop. Except one. Behind the counter⊠There are two of us. Me⊠And him. But in the footageâ Heâs smiling. Way too wide. I turn around. Heâs not smiling in real life. He leans in close⊠and whispers: âYou werenât supposed to come back early.â The lights flickerâ And suddenly⊠Iâm outside again. Standing by the pumps. My coat still inside. I check my phone. 1:47 AM. A message comes through: âHey, weâve sent someone to cover your break. Be nice, heâs new.â I never went back inside.
