Script Vidéo

Most fighter pilots need perfect physical health. Douglas Bader had neither leg. After losing both legs in a plane crash before World War II, doctors believed his flying career was over. They were wrong. Using artificial legs, Bader returned to the cockpit. When war broke out, he became one of Britain's most successful fighter aces. He shot down numerous enemy aircraft and inspired thousands across the country. Then, during a mission over occupied Europe, his plane was shot down. Captured by German forces, Bader repeatedly tried to escape. His determination became legendary. Despite losing both legs, he refused to let anyone decide what he could or couldn't do. And he became one of the most famous pilots of World War II.
