Have you heard the story of the last passenger? A night bus driver was finishing his route just after midnight. The streets were empty. At the third stop, a man stepped onto the bus. Dark coat. Black hat. Head lowered. The driver nodded and pulled away. A few minutes later, he checked the mirror. The man was still there. Completely still. Not looking out the window. Not looking at his phone. Just sitting. The route continued. Stop after stop. People got on. People got off. But the man never moved. Hours passed. Finally, the driver reached the last stop. Everyone left. Except him. The driver parked the bus and walked down the aisle. "Sir, this is the end of the line." No answer. He stepped closer. The seat was empty. The driver froze. He had been watching that passenger in the mirror all night. There was nowhere he could have gone. Then the radio crackled. A voice from dispatch whispered, "Bus 17... why is there someone sitting behind you?" The transmission cut out. And the security camera feed ended right there.
