The valley exploded into chaos. Bullets tore through the air. "Hit the leg joints!" I shouted. Atikon charged through the gunfire, drawing the monster's attention. Blue energy surged through my body and I launched into the air. The spider let out a deafening shriek. A giant limb shot forward and wrapped around Atikon's neck. Metal groaned. Was this the end for Atikon?
