Script Vidéo

One night, Jesus told His disciples to get into a boat and cross the sea while He stayed behind to pray. As they sailed, a powerful storm arose. The wind howled, the waves crashed against the boat, and the disciples struggled through the darkness. Then, in the middle of the storm, they saw something that terrified them even more. A figure was walking on the water toward them. They cried out in fear, thinking it was a ghost. But Jesus spoke to them and said, “Take courage. It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Peter answered, “Lord, if it is really You, tell me to come to You on the water.” Jesus replied with one word: “Come.” Peter stepped out of the boat and began walking on the water toward Jesus. For a moment, he did what seemed impossible. But then Peter looked at the wind. He saw the waves. He focused on the storm around him instead of the Savior in front of him. And he began to sink. Immediately Peter cried out, “Lord, save me!” Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. Then Jesus said, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” When they climbed into the boat, the wind died down, and the disciples worshiped Jesus, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.” This story isn’t just about walking on water. It’s about what happens when we take our eyes off Jesus. Many of us start out trusting God, but when problems come, we focus on our fears, our circumstances, and everything that could go wrong. Just like Peter, we begin to sink. But here’s the good news: Even when Peter’s faith faltered, Jesus didn’t let him drown. And the same is true for you. No matter how overwhelmed you feel, no matter how strong the storm around you may seem, keep your eyes on Jesus. And when you feel yourself sinking, call out to Him. He is always close enough to reach out His hand and pull you up.
