The War Australia Lost: The Great Emu War!
Description
Script Vidéo
In 1932, Australia declared war… on birds. Not ordinary birds — emus. Thousands of them. Fast. Huge. Unstoppable. After World War I, soldiers in Western Australia struggled to survive as crops failed. Then came the emus… migrating like an army across farmland, destroying fences and eating what little remained. Farmers begged for help. So the Australian military stepped in — armed with machine guns, soldiers, and strategy. It sounded easy. It wasn’t. The emus didn’t fight like animals. They scattered. They dodged bullets. They absorbed attacks and kept moving. Machine guns jammed. Ammunition ran out. The terrain betrayed every plan. After weeks of battle… the military reported massive frustration — and almost no success. Eventually, they withdrew. The result? A “war” where humans had superior weapons… but the emus won. And history quietly called it: The Great Emu War.
