Did you know there's a legend about a phone call that comes from your own number? A college student was studying alone late at night when her phone suddenly rang. The screen showed her own name. And her own number. Thinking it was a glitch, she answered. At first, there was only static. Then she heard breathing. Slow. Heavy. And then a voice whispered: "Don't look outside." Her stomach dropped. She checked the window anyway. Nothing. Just an empty street. A few seconds later, the phone buzzed again. Same number. This time the voice sounded terrified. It was her own voice. Crying. It whispered: "Please listen to me. Lock the back door." She ran through the house and found the back door slightly open. She slammed it shut and locked it. Then the call cut off. Silence. The next morning, police were investigating footprints behind the house. No one knew who they belonged to. But when she checked her call history... The calls were gone. As if they had never happened.
