A lone teenager stands on a crumbling rooftop overlooking a city swallowed by permanent night. The moon is fractured, bleeding red light across the sky. Shadows crawl along the buildings like living creatures, whispering as they move. The teen’s eyes glow faintly — not human, not fully monstrous — as a mark on their arm pulses like a heartbeat. Below, the streets twist unnaturally, forming spirals and impossible angles. People wander like sleepwalkers, their faces blank, their shadows detached and watching them. A colossal, skeletal figure looms in the distance, chained to the horizon, its ribs glowing like molten iron. The teen clutches a broken mask — the last relic of their humanity — as the red eclipse intensifies. The chains on the horizon begin to snap.
