The Call You Should Never Answer
Description
Script Vidéo
Did you know there's a phone call you should never answer... if it comes from your own number? A security guard was finishing his night shift in an empty office building. It was almost 2 a.m. Everyone had already gone home. His only job was to check every floor, lock the doors, and leave. Then his phone rang. The screen showed... his own phone number. Confused, he answered. Nobody spoke. For a few seconds... there was only silence. Then... he heard footsteps. Slow. Heavy. Echoing through what sounded like a long hallway. He pulled the phone away from his ear and looked around. The lobby was completely empty. He put the phone back to his ear. The footsteps stopped. Then a voice whispered, "Don't go to the third floor." The call disconnected. He stood there staring at his phone. It had to be some kind of prank. Right? Then... the elevator doors opened by themselves. No one was inside. The display read... 3. He hadn't pressed a button. The elevator wasn't supposed to stop unless someone called it. He should've walked away. Instead... he stepped inside. When the doors opened... the third floor was almost completely dark. Only a few emergency lights lit the hallway. Everything was silent. Too silent. Then he heard it. A telephone ringing. Not his cellphone. An old landline. The sound came from the last office at the end of the hall. He slowly walked toward it. Inside... sat an old wooden desk covered in dust. On top of it... a beige telephone. Still ringing. He picked it up. Immediately... he heard someone breathing. Fast. Terrified. Then... he froze. Because the voice on the other end... was his own. It whispered, "Listen carefully." "You're about thirty seconds behind me." The call cut off. At that exact moment... he heard footsteps outside the office. Slow. Heavy. Getting closer. He ran. Didn't look back. Didn't stop until he burst out of the building. The moment he reached the street... every light inside went out. The next morning, he asked the building manager about the old telephone on the third floor. The manager stared at him. Then quietly said, "That's impossible." "We removed every landline from that floor... eleven years ago." Before quitting his job... he checked his call history one last time. There had only been one incoming call that night. The caller... was his own phone number.
