Trapped in a Novel: A Race Against Chapter 7
Description
Script Vidéo
I was the top student at the most prestigious university in town, and reading novels was my favorite hobby. One day after class, I wandered into an old bookstore hidden in a quiet alley. A mysterious novel caught my eye, so I sat down and started reading. Little did I know, that single decision was about to change my life forever. I was halfway through the book when the ground suddenly shook violently—an earthquake. The shelves rattled, dust filled the air, and before I could react, I looked up and saw the ceiling collapsing toward me. In that moment, I knew I was going to die. But when I opened my eyes, I was standing in front of a mirror… wearing a maid’s uniform. Before I could make sense of anything, a beautiful woman with long blonde hair walked in. "Trina?" she called. That name felt strangely familiar. Then my eyes drifted to the magnificent crystal chandelier hanging above us. The blonde woman... the chandelier... Why did they both seem so familiar? "This has to be a dream..." I whispered to myself. Before I could process what was happening, another breathtaking face appeared—the handsome young man from the novel. In an instant, everything came rushing back. The blonde woman... the chandelier... him... They were the characters from the novel I had been reading. "Trina?" My blood ran cold. Trina wasn't the heroine. She was the heroine's personal maid... and the girl who died protecting her in Chapter 7. My eyes shot toward the crystal chandelier overhead. "Oh no..." I'm going to die because of that chandelier. "This has to be a dream... right?" I muttered to myself. Before I could gather my thoughts, another breathtaking face appeared. The male lead. At that moment, everything came rushing back. The blonde woman... the chandelier... him... They were the characters from the novel I had been reading. There was no way I was mistaken. "Trina?" My heart nearly stopped. Trina wasn't the heroine. She was the heroine's personal maid—the girl who died protecting her in Chapter 7. My eyes darted to the crystal chandelier above us. "I'm going to die because of that chandelier." I let out a nervous laugh. "If this is really a dream..." ...Wait. Why does this feel so real? I pinched my arm. "Ouch!" It hurt. The pain was real. The fear was real. And the memory of the bookstore ceiling collapsing during the earthquake suddenly came flooding back. No... this wasn't a dream. If I already know what's going to happen, then I have to come up with a plan before Chapter 7 arrives.
