Title: The Knock at 3:00 A.M. It was exactly 3:00 a.m. when Emma heard three slow knocks on her bedroom door. Knock… knock… knock. She checked her phone. Her parents were away, and she was completely alone. Trying to ignore it, she pulled the blanket over her head. Then her phone buzzed with a text from her mom: “Whatever you do… don’t open your bedroom door.” Her heart dropped. Before she could reply, another message appeared: “I’m not home.” The knocking became louder. Then a voice whispered through the door. “Emma… it’s me.” It sounded exactly like her mother. Frozen with fear, Emma looked under the door and saw two bare feet… facing the wrong direction. The voice kept begging, “Please… let me in.” Then, silence. A few seconds later, her closet door slowly creaked open by itself. Something inside whispered… “You should’ve opened the other door.” The next morning, the police found the house empty. Emma was never seen again.
