The group was made up of experienced hikers who knew how to survive in extreme conditions. But one freezing night, something terrifying happened. When rescuers finally found their campsite weeks later, the tent had been cut open from the inside… as if everyone had fled in blind panic. Some hikers were discovered barefoot, wearing only thin clothing, despite temperatures below -30°C (-22°F). Others were found hundreds of meters away. Several had crushed ribs and fractured skulls… yet almost no visible external injuries. One victim was missing her tongue, and parts of her lips and eyes were gone. For decades, theories ranged from avalanches and secret military experiments to mysterious lights seen in the sky.
