The landlord handed me the keys and said, 'Whatever you do... if you hear knocking after 3 AM, don't answer it.' I laughed. I thought he was trying to scare me. That night I woke up at exactly **3:03 AM**. **Knock... Knock... Knock...** It wasn't coming from the front door. It was coming from underneath my bed. I grabbed my phone, turned on the flashlight, and looked underneath. Nothing. I told myself it was just the building settling. Then I climbed back into bed. A few seconds later... I got a notification on my phone. It was a photo. Of me... Looking under the bed. The picture had been taken from **underneath** it. There was no one else in the apartment.
