On the evening of August 13, 1491, Italian lawyer and scholar Fazio Cardano claimed he experienced a mysterious encounter inside his home in Milan with seven unknown beings.
He described them as tall, slender figures with large, luminous eyes, dressed in long flowing robes. According to his account, they appeared suddenly without entering through a door or window.
Cardano said he spoke with them for more than three hours. They told him they were not from the human world, that their average lifespan was around 300 years, and that they possessed advanced knowledge. However, they insisted they were forbidden from revealing certain secrets or interfering in human affairs.
When he asked about hidden treasures or knowledge that could give humanity great power or wealth, they refused, saying such information was forbidden to share.
The seven beings then disappeared as mysteriously as they had arrived, leaving no physical evidence behind.
The story was later recorded by Cardano's son, Girolamo Cardano. Although there is no independent evidence to verify the account, it is considered one of the earliest written stories describing a direct encounter with mysterious beings possessing advanced knowledge.
