I woke up at 3:17 AM because I heard someone whispering my name. At first, I thought I was dreaming. Then I heard it again. “Ahmed…” It was coming from inside my room. I turned on the light. Nothing. I checked under the bed. Nothing. I even checked the closet. Empty. I laughed nervously and told myself I was imagining things. Then my own voice whispered from behind me… “Ahmed… don’t turn around.” I froze. Because I knew that voice. It was mine. I slowly looked at the mirror. My reflection was standing perfectly still. But I wasn't. I was shaking. Then the reflection smiled. And whispered… “You shouldn't have turned the light on.”
