Thanks Anne for stopping to have a cup of tea with me. Anne's story shows how a little bit of help can change everything. And when it comes to a bit of extra help when there’s a power cut, there's something called the Priority Services Register that might help you out. Each Distribution Network Operator has their own PSR, and UK Power Networks are encouraging people in London, South East and East of England to sign up to its scheme – which is totally free, and will give you help when you need it most.

Recently @national.rail asked me to help celebrate 200 years of the railways. Two whole centuries of journeys, moments and stories shared between strangers. Trains have always been more than a way to get from A to B. For 200 years, they’ve been a place where conversations spark, kindness shows up and real life unfolds between the stops.
