Foggy day at the castle🏰One of the greatest privileges of living near to ruins and history like this is being able to visit them through the year; to explore the same steps and see how each season makes it unique. One of my most magical visits here was not seeing it in summer sun with yellow wildflowers filling the fields surrounding it, but this quiet visit still in winter with ground hard with frost and thick fog blanketing everything.
