I am blown away with how many people saw my audition and said that they preferred my first song. The fact that people heard me sing for 1 minute and could hear that the fact that I was a jazz singer is blowing my mind. Wanted to record a cover of it from the comfort of my room, which is where I sing best 🫶 I saw @Sophia James sing this song live during the Eloise tour last year, and it completely changed my life and the way that I sing. She is my one of my favorite idol contestants of all time and honestly one of the reasons why I auditioned (I said “I’m singing Sophia James song or none at all.”) Hearing that she saw my audition and she was proud of me brings tears to my eyes as I write this. I can’t thank you all enough for all the positive feedback I am getting, and for people even defending me in the comments when I get some hate (“she was nervous it’s okay!!” 😭) I was so anxious for my audition to air, but it turned out so much better than I expected.
