When he was 2 years old, Bogart, a sweet furbaby, became his new best friend. They shared a lot of laughs, silly memories, and fun moments. Unfortunately, Bogart, like all pets, cannot stay here forever—probably the most painful part of owning a pet. Last year, Bogart had to say goodbye to Jenzel and his family. Jenzel, now 6, goes on with his day without his best friend for the first time in years. He would sometimes say, "I hope Bogart is happy in heaven," or "I hope he has someone to play with there." As if by fate, Jenzel met sweet Sasa during the adoption drive last January 31 at SM City Tarlac. She was the only dog left. For the entire day, she was there waiting, watching as the others got adopted. But the moment Jenzel saw her, it was like meeting his best friend again. And just like that, an immediate bond was formed. Perhaps Bogart also wished for his best friend to find a new fur companion to continue his journey with. And for us, it was really meant to be.
