I used to hate when my mom would record my therapy sessions, but now I’m grateful she did. Those videos became a reminder of how far I’ve come and the progress I sometimes couldn’t see in the moment. I suffered a spinal cord injury that completely changed my life. It hasn’t been easy—physically, emotionally, or mentally.
