The future of all industries— tech, film, everything in between—will be built by “creator-entrepreneurs.” It’s not that creators happen to have great ideas for things they wanna make (whether it’s a movie or a Bluetooth landline phone.) It’s that people who have great ideas BENEFIT from being creators in the first place because they have access to an audience (distribution) and social capital (investors + collaborators). The future will be built by people who start on the internet, start scrappy, and don’t go through the traditional gatekeepers. In tech, that might be VC or Stanford.
