I can now add raising a cleft lip puppy to my dog rescue resume 🥰 Bean, now known as Mr. Bentley was such a pleasure to foster. He is doing wonderful with his new family and I couldn’t be happier to share these updates! What a journey 🥹💙

This morning feels different. For the first time in over a year, I woke up with no fosters in my house. It’s quiet. Calm. And I can’t help but look back on the last couple of months especially. All those sweet faces, the chaos, the late nights, the tiny wins, and the love that filled this space. Not just from me, but from my own dogs too! They each have their own way of welcoming, teaching, comforting, and showing every foster what it feels like to just be a dog. Watching them play, cuddle, and help each other heal is one of my favorite parts of this journey. Fostering is overwhelming sometimes. It’s messy, exhausting, and emotional. But it’s also fun, meaningful, and fulfilling. I’m so grateful I get to love them so fiercely, even when it’s temporary. As I step into a new chapter and prepare to welcome my baby, I know I’ll have to slow down and eventually take a break from fostering. But this isn’t the end! I don’t have to have a house full of fosters to make a difference (and neither do you 😉). Helping animals in need has always been my passion, and it always will be! 💜
