كلّية #الصيدلة تنظّم مراسم " #المعطف_الأبيض " للمرّة الثالثة احتفلت كلّية الصيدلة في #الجامعة_الأمريكية_في_بغداد بانتقال دفعةٍ جديدةٍ من طلبتها من مرحلة الدراسة النظرية إلى مرحلة الانخراط بالمواد المهنية، وذلك بمراسم اِلباس الطلبة المعطف الأبيض، معطف ممارسة المهنة، حيث أدى المُحتفى بهم قَسَم الصيادلة أمام أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية ومسؤولي الجامعة ونقيب صيادلة العراق، وأمام الأهالي الفخورين بأبنائهم وبناتهم في هذا اليوم المميّز، يوم اتخذ صيادلة المستقبل اليافعون على عاتقهم مسؤولية رعاية المرضى وفق أعلى المعايير المهنية والأخلاقية. College of Pharmacy Organizes Third #White_Coat_Ceremony The College of #Pharmacy (CoP) at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad ( AUIB ) celebrated the culmination of yet another cohort of its students their foundational theoretical studies, moving to the stage of practical instruction. The future practitioners donned the white robes of the healthcare professions and took the Oath of Pharmacists before CoP faculty, University officials, the President of the Iraqi Pharmacists’ Syndicate, and also their parents, who proudly watched their children commit to the highest professional and ethical standards in patient care.

استضافت #الجامعة_الأمريكية_في_بغداد ، للمرة الثانية على التوالي، برنامج التدريب العملي في التفاوض والوساطة التجارية الدولية الذي ينظّمه برنامج #الأمم_المتحدة_الإنمائي، بدعمٍ من #الاتحاد_الأوروبي. على مدى خمسة أيام، شاركت فرقٌ طلابيةٌ من كلّيات القانون في جامعاتٍ بارزةٍ عبر العراق في برنامج التدريب العملي المكثّف الذي صُمِّم ليطوّر مهارات المشاركين في حلّ النزاعات التجارية الدولية، قبل أن يتباروا، في اليوم السادس والأخير من البرنامج، في مسابقةٍ بين الفرق الطلابية التي أشرف عليها أعضاءٌ من الهيئات التدريسية في الكلّيات المعنية، والتي اختير في ختامها المشاركين المؤهلين لتمثيل العراق في المسابقة الدولية في فيينا، برعايةٍ من برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي. The American University of Iraq-Baghdad (#AUIB) hosted, for the second time, the International Commercial Negotiation and Mediation Training and Practice Program organized by the United Nations Development Program (#UNDP), under the auspices of the . Student teams of colleges of law at prominent universities across Iraq participated in the intensive, practice-oriented 5-day program designed to develop participants’ skills in international commercial dispute resolution, before engaging, on the sixth and final day of the program, in a competition between the faculty-supervised student teams, at the conclusion of which selected participants qualified to represent Iraq at the Vienna International Competition, with the sponsorship of UNDP.

زار وفدٌ مشترك من شركة تويوتا العراق وشركة سوميتومو الشرق الأوسط بزيارةٍ إلى الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد، حيث عقد اجتماعاً مع رئيس الجامعة، د. برادلي كوك، وكبار أعضاء الكادر الأكاديمي والإداري في الجامعة. ناقش المجتمعون آفاق توسيع علاقات التعاون القائمة بالفعل بين الجامعة وشركة تويوتا العراق، لتصبح شراكةً متعددة الأطراف تشمل شركة سوميتومو، وهي عضو رئيسي في مجموعة سوميتومو اليابانية التي وسّعت أنشطتها على مدى العقود الماضية؛ فمن شركةٍ مختصّةٍ في تنقية النحاس، نمت اليوم لتصبح واحدةً من أبرز الشركات الرائدة في اليابان في مجالاتٍ متعددة مثل التمويل والتأمين والتصنيع والعقارات. A joint delegation from Toyota Iraq and Sumitomo Corporation Middle East visited the American University of Iraq-Baghdad (AUIB), where they convened with University President, Dr. Bradley Cook, and senior members of the University’s academic and administrative cadre. The parties discussed the prospects of expanding the collaborative relationship AUIB already has with Toyota Iraq to multilateral cooperation that includes Sumitomo Corporation, a major member of the Sumitomo Group, which has expanded its activities over the decades, growing from a copper refining business to become one of Japan's leading players in multiple fields such as finance, insurance, manufacturing, and real estate.

AUIB Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Institute for International Law and Human Rights The American University of Iraq-Baghdad (#AUIB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute for #International_Law and #Human_Rights (IILHR), establishing a framework for cooperation between the two parties, aiming “to enhance education, training, and skills development in areas of mutual interest, including legislative drafting, environmental legislation, and legal reform.”

مشاركة كلّية #العلوم_الصحية في مؤتمر #AEEDC دبي 🦷 يُعَد مؤتمر AEEDC من أهم المؤتمرات العالمية التي تُقام سنويًا في دبي، حيث يقدّم أحدث الأبحاث العلمية والمحاضرات المتخصّصة في #طب_الأسنان، ويشكّل منصةً مهمةً لتبادل الخبرات، إضافةً إلى استعراض أحدث الأجهزة والتقنيات المستخدمة في مختبرات وعيادات الأسنان. شاركت كلّية العلوم الصحية في المؤتمر لمدة ثلاثة أيام، فحضر أساتذةٌ منها محاضراتٍ نظرية متقدمة قدّمها أطباءٌ وخبراءٌ من مختلف دول العالم، إلى جانب التدريب على أجهزةٍ متطورةٍ والاطلاع على أحدث التقنيات في مختبرات صناعة الأسنان. أكّدت هذه المشاركة أهمية ربط الجانبين الأكاديمي والعملي، كما التعرّف على الشركات المتخصّصة وسوق العمل في مجالَي مختبرات الأسنان وطب الأسنان. It features the latest and specialized lectures in dentistry and serves as an important platform for exchanging expertise, while also showcasing the newest equipment and technologies used in dental laboratories and clinics. The College of Health Sciences participated in the conference for three days, where College faculty attended advanced theoretical lectures delivered by doctors and experts from around the world, training on cutting-edge devices, and exploring the latest technologies at dental laboratories. This affirmed the importance of bridging academic learning with practical application, as well as familiarization with specialized companies and the job market in the fields of dental laboratories and .

بهدف دعم وتشجيع البحث العلمي لدى طلاب المرحلة الجامعية الأولى (البكالوريوس)، نظّمت #الجامعة_الأمريكية_في_بغداد مؤتمراً لـ "بحوث طلاب المرحلة الجامعية الأولى في حقوق الإنسان"، تحت شعار "حقوق الإنسان ليست خياراً". قدّم طلابٌ من تخصّصاتٍ أكاديميةٍ متنوعة أوراقاً بحثية تناولت مواضيع عديدة تشمل الجوانب القانونية والاجتماعية الاقتصادية والطبية والبيئية والثقافية والتكنولوجية والتعليمية، تقاطعت جميعها في مقاربتها الحقوقية لمعالجة التحديات متعددة الأوجه التي يواجهها #العراق في مرحلة ما بعد الحرب. رحّب رئيس الجامعة، د. برادلي كوك، بالحضور، وكان من أبرزهم مسؤولون في هيئاتٍ تابعةٍ للأمم المتحدة، مؤكّداً التزام الجامعة نهج الدراسات متعددة التخصّصات، والتي تساعد الطلاب على "فهم عالمنا" وتوسيع نظرتهم تجاه قضايا معقّدة مثل حقوق الإنسان. With an aim to support and encourage research among its undergraduate students, the American University of Iraq-Baghdad organized a conference on “Undergraduate #Human_Rights Research” under the slogan, “Human Rights Are Not Optional”, where students in various academic disciplines presented research papers on a wide array of themes, including the legal, socioeconomic, medical, environmental, cultural, technological, and educational_ all intersecting in their rights-based approach to the multifaceted challenges faced by post-war Iraq. #AUIB President, Dr. Bradley Cook, welcomed the guests in attendance, most notable of whom were United Nations officials, and affirmed AUIB’s commitment to interdisciplinary studies that help students “make sense of our world” and broaden their view of issues as complex as human rights.

At a special ceremony held at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad (#AUIB) campus, AUIB President, Dr. Bradley Cook, and the French Ambassador to #Iraq, Mr. Patrick Durel, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, officially launching a number of collaborative projects where the University and the French Embassy will jointly deliver French language courses and establish a French Diploma test center at AUIB’s Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development (#CEID). The two parties will also work together to promote collaboration in teaching and research between AUIB and various French universities, collaborate in the organization of cultural events, and facilitate the mobility of AUIB and CEID students to France.
