Most of our customers are angels, truly. We see the jewelry as just an excuse and the real part of this all is doing your hair, making you feel beautiful, reminding you of what a gorgeous goddess you are. So when evey blue moon a troll has to come by and completely ruin the vibe by pulling something like this off, it really does take the wind out of my sales. All the sleepless nights of working so hard… the sweat, tears and blood that go into making a production like this come to life…. Something was off about her energy. She seemed distant and mean. I felt something not good when doing her hair. So I knew I had to keep an eye on her. But…. The f***g audacity, to steal by concealing the piece in the tissue I just offered her a moment before out of my kind heart for her runny nose truly left me baffled. And yes, I got the comb back. And no, it was not easy. She put up a pretty feisty argument.

Although our customers are 99.9% of the time the sweetest most appreciative ppl on earth, it’s those 0.01% that really ruin it for us and leaves us sometimes shocked. Is this one of the oldest tricks in the book? Ordering multiples and claim you only received one? Perhaps? Only in this case she seems to have taken it to the next level….

This this is the story of Deb, who a few years ago moved with her 2yo daughter into a beautiful home in an upscale neighborhood by the beach in New Hampshire. Seems like a good beginning… right? But then…. Not so long after she was able to discover that as beautiful as her new little town was, there was also a dark side… She discovered that her new area has a very high volume of pediatric cancer cases. A deep dive made her realize that her beautiful new home is surrounded by a bunch of toxic waste sites. So after barely 3 months she decided she had to leave. But… that was the beginning of something else. In the past few years Deb has been focusing all of her attention, energy and resources in researching and building a website that makes it easy and accessible for everyone to be able to log in and with a few clicks of a button see if there are any issues with the air, water and land in their area. If you’re about to move to a new place or if you’re just curious to know what to watch out of in your area, this can be helpful. She started this hoping to be able to help us all stay safe and aware, and avoid unnecessary exposures to harmful pollutions that are sometimes right under our nose. The main issue with these types of startups surviving after the initial investment is getting the word out. And this is where you come in. My friend needs your help. If you are also worried like me about the state of our environment and the sheer amount of ppl getting cancer all around us, this could be helpful for you. I personally know it must be something in the water, food and air we consume, I just couldn’t prove it until now. Pls help Deb spread the word.
