Tonight was the first of three shows that @FLETCHER is doing this week in Brooklyn and LA that were billed as special intimate performances. The @Brooklyn Paramount is pretty spectacularly cavernous, but she really did make it feel intimate tonight. The connection and mutual gratitude with her fans somehow just seems to shrink the room. I couldn’t get enough of the @bigthiefmusic tour that ended in Houston on November 7. The setlists were amazing, and varied significantly night to night. The shows had Big Thief’s characteristic looseness and life, with every song sounding different every night depending on how the band was feeling. Bassist @joshuacrumbly23 was an incredible addition, somehow pushing songs in new directions while also making it hard to believe he wasn’t always part of this music. Really some of my favorite shows I’ve seen.
