Humbled. Honored and greatful for the trust reposed in me in and my party by the people of Pakistan once again. From Karachi to Kashmore the peoples party has emerged victorious in sindh local body elections. Today our chairman and mayors have been elected across the province. In a historic first PPP mayors elected in Karachi & Hyderabad. The most progressive local bodies setup in south aisa with woman, minorities, labours, farmers and the khawja sira communities represted in local govt.

My decision to attend this meeting illustrates Pakistan’s strong commitment to the charter of SCO. During my visit, which is focused exclusively on the SCO, I look forward to constructive discussions with my counterparts from friendly countries.

Today I visited Dadu. 5 months on from monster monsoons & many areas still flooded. Although 🇵🇰 only contributes 0.8% of global carbon footprint we are 8th most affected by climate change. On Jan 9th we will host int conference to share our plan to rebuild a climate resilient 🇵🇰.
