We recently got our hands on Black Drama, a 1973 release on Smithsonian Folkways label featuring oral recordings from Barbara Ann Teer and Charlie L. Russell, edited & recorded by Nathan W. Garner. Early on, learning about Barbara’s roots in East St. Louis sent me down a deep dive.
