I hate dupes and I never thought I’d be collecting dupes but when it came to destroying perfectly good clothing I had no choice but to save them. With THOUSANDS OF DUPES piled up at my warehouse (of which I have to pay extra to store) I now had a different problem 🥲 That’s when I reached out to my friends and incredible fashion designers @TransformationsByTracy and @Kiana 💗 to see if they wanted to help me do something cool with the dupes…and that’s when the @POPFLEX Active Upcycle Project was born! I am BEYOND MINDBLOWN at what Tracy and Kiana did with the fabric! Like literally 🤯🤯🤯 If you sew and wanna take a stab at making these dresses yourself, go on the POPFLEX site and search for the DIY Upcycle Kits! You’ll get the digital pattern and I’ll also send you all the fabric you’ll need to complete your dress (cuz pls help me clear the warehouse!!) 100% of all profits from your purchase will go directly to Tracy and Kiana because this project isn’t just about taking a stand against dupe culture, it’s about STANDING UP for independent designers too. Diving and history are 2 of my fascinations outside of work. I can’t believe I got to freedive and scuba dive down to shipwrecks in Coron, Philippines to experience a piece of the past… This is Skeleton Wreck. Highly recommend Mozaran Maru for one of the coooooolest wreck dives ever. You literally descend through a bomb hole!

Almost dying taught me that maybe success isn’t everything. As a child of Asian immigrants, this is anti everything I was taught. That mentality of always working hard and always pushing for excellence got me to where I am, and I am forever grateful for that, but at the same time…I am plagued with never knowing when to stop because I am never satisfied. Here’s to figuring out how to be content in 2026. Happy new year everyone! ♥️Cassey
