Jack Fink had a short Q&A with Ken Paxton while he was campaigning in Fort Worth the weekend before Election Day. Paxton says he's "got a shot" at winning the Republican race for U.S. Senate outright.

Among those who witnessed the chaos of gunfire in Austin's entertainment district were two pedicab drivers. Heidi Nicole and Silas Heart said they were waiting for the usual late-night rush when the shooting began. "It sounded like a firework finale because there were so many shots going off," Nicole said.
