I wasted 3 years of my life Trading and Losing.. Before i finally figured it out and made millions. The problem is we are all looking 1 life changing trade to break free from our shitty life. It wasn’t until i slowed way down and realized there will never be 1 life changing trade. I needed to focus on survival and long term consistency over anything. ✅ No Conviction : I always had to ask other people “is this still a good buy here?” “Should i sell now?”. Until you can answer these questions on your own, you won’t become a profitable trader. The fix for this is in the next bullet point. ✅ No System: For every trade you make you need to first answer 3 questions. Where am I buying, taking profit, and stop loss if im wrong? These questions seem very difficult to answer at the beginning. But once you learn a “trading system” These answers all become quite clear. But, there is a problem. And that leads me to my next point. ✅ Lack of Discipline: Human emotion is our biggest downfall. In trading, we can use a system that tells us exactly what do to. Yet, due to greed we are never satisfied with the current profit we have. And due to fear/stupidity we never sell when its small loss before it turns into a massive loss. In trading, we can choose to win or choose to lose. Most people finally sell at a loss and never when its a win. I had to learn to sell when i was still in profit, even if i thought it could go higher. ✅ No Mentor : The fastest path to success is not your own. It’s by those who carved out the path before you. I myself have always been one to try to figure things out myself for some reason. It took me 3 years of misery to figure out the trading lessons that someone could have just told me on day 1. Sorry I’m Busy ⚡️💸

While i still did have a lot of success in my 20’s. I spent a lot of it drunk and hungover. And to be honest a lot of it was of the best years of my life, best memories, and i have no regrets. But there comes a turning point in your life when you keep going down that road and it has diminishing returns. I spent my late 20’s and early 30’s in a constant hungover state of depression. Zero productivity and lost in my life. For a while i spent about 6 months months strait in bed on Mondays after 3 day benders Friday - Sunday. I was physically and mentally incapable for the first 1/2 of the work week. Luckily as a trader, i didn’t have a boss or need to be anywhere. And I was still able to be make a lot of money. But i could have been so much better off now if I would have shifted sooner. I feel like i wasted 2-3 precious years that i will never get back. The moment you start seeing your lifestyle effecting your life, business, and relationships in a negative way you need to change fast, do not wait, do not hesitate, take action now. I wish i would have took action sooner. I’m happy to see more young hustlers out there making that change in their early 20’s rather than early 30’s like me!
