Weird rules I have for myself to stay lean … without restricting any food 👇 1️⃣ Protein first. Every meal starts with 40–60g of protein. If I’m still hungry after? Cool. But protein sets the tone. 2️⃣ Veggies or fruit at every meal. Fiber = fullness. Fullness = fewer “accidental” 1,000 calorie nights. 3️⃣ No liquid calories. If I’m drinking it, it’s water, black coffee, or zero calorie drinks. I’d rather chew my calories. 4️⃣ Walk 10–15k steps daily. Most fat gain isn’t from food … it’s from sitting. 5️⃣ If I want dessert, I have it after a high protein meal. Never on an empty stomach. Keeps portions under control without “forbidden food” drama. 6️⃣ I eat the same 5–6 meals on repeat. Decision fatigue makes you fat. Systems make you lean. 7️⃣ I don’t label foods “good” or “bad.” The second you moralize food, you start the restrict → binge cycle. No food is off limits. But not every food gets unlimited access to my day. That’s the difference.
