Prophetess Korode started by giving praises and exaltation to God almighty, after which she went straight to the sermon for the day . She began by reminding us that this Lenten season is a journey of the heart; we should open our heart to God so He can draw us closer to Himself. Lent is not just about tradition. It is about: reflection, repentance, renewal and realignment. Then she answered some questions that were previously asked but she was unable to answer because of time, which were: The Question was about Incense: Someone asked about an incident where incense was burned and someone nearby died. There was fear that the incense caused the death. Prophetess Clarified that The incense did not kill the person and The death was a coincidence. She explained that She is not condemning incense, However Incense has lost its original meaning and spiritual significance in many churches today. She encouraged everyone to read Exodus 30:1–10, so that everyone will know the true meaning of burning incense 2. On Church Titles : She stated that Titles have not been confirmed in heaven, therefore Receiving a church title does not equal spiritual approval and it is a thing of choice, but nowadays Some titles carry more spiritual baggage than some generational curses. 3. ASH WEDNESDAY Our Ash Wednesday service which is 18th of February, marks a day of reflection and preparation for the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior on the cross of calvary. A period where we put ourselves in total repentance and being sober. It's a day that leads us into our 40days fasting. 40days of calling ourselves back into the presence of God with true repentance. As we observe our ash Wednesday service, it is our prayer that our soul be opened and refreshed to the true meaning of repentance, fellowship, with God.
