Hip thrust: • allow full range of motion • hinge the torso, keep chin tucked and core braced • drive through the heels and squeeze the glutes to get back to the top position Use hip thrusts at the BEGINNING of your session. Great compound lift which you can load heavy (with practise) to build strength and size to the glutes. Low to moderate rep range. Kas glute bridge: • similar movement but much smaller range of motion • stop hinging as soon as you feel your knees start to track towards you • shins stay almost vertical • keep chin tucked and core braced • drive through the heels and squeeze the glutes in the top position Use Kas Glute Bridges as an accessory/finisher movement near the end/latter part of your session. Moderate to high rep ranges with a lower load will give you a brutal pump. Reverse crunches and a wholesome diet 🤝 @AYBL dc NEENY Hold onto the decline bench behind your head. Tuck your hips and find tension in your core. Think about curling your pelvis towards your ribcage and crunch the abs to bring your knees up towards your chest/shoulders. Slowly control back down, letting one vertebrae curl back onto the bench at a time. Keep tension in your core the whole time, even as your legs come to the bottom of the movement otherwise your lower back will start to arch off the bench. To make these easier, you can do them flat on the floor. To make them harder, use a steeper decline or perform them as hanging knee crunches. #gym #abs #core #coreworkout #reversecrunch
