Vocabulary 👇 clips Definition: to hit lightly or partially, usually by accident or while passing Spanish: rozar / golpear ligeramente Example: The train clips his knee as it passes, just enough to knock him off balance. tumble forward Definition: to fall forward suddenly and awkwardly, often losing control of your body Spanish: caerse hacia adelante / tropezar hacia adelante Example: As soon as his knee is clipped, he tumbles forward onto the platform. yank backwards Definition: to pull someone back suddenly and forcefully Spanish: jalar bruscamente hacia atrás Example: People nearby yank him backwards before the train gets any closer. swept away Definition: to be carried away by a strong force, often unexpectedly Spanish: arrastrado Example: While they pull him back, his small table gets swept away under the train and destroyed.
