#deq was practiced all over the body traditionally. Unfortunately many body parts were not documented as well as visible parts like the face, hands and feet. But our elders had them also on the back, belly, hips, upper legs. I see some misinformation online that the new generation is doing deq in different placements as back then which is not true; here’s your proof. We inked our body everywhere. 🫶🏽
