(13) 80’s Sports Jacket — Release & Coordination The release went great. Immediately followed by extensive SKU coordination with the sewing and fabric factories. (12) 80’s Sports Jacket — Size & Silhouette When the upper body (torso) is given its actual proportions, legs show their actual length, thus height is visually defined. When jackets are designed to stay at waist level, movement and mobility are maximized, hence why flight and motorcycle jackets are always shorter when compared to any modern sports and workwear jackets. Make sure you balance between the Body Length measurement and Waist Width measurement to get a sharper look. Nonetheless, unlike pants, jackets can be worn unzipped. A relaxed fit should work out as well depending on preference. This has been a great journey and a great start for Fuseinatti in the athletic field. More to come. Thank you, as always.

(7) 80’s Sports Jacket — the Turtle Shell The turtle shell analogy worked perfectly for the jacket. The stitching between both natural and synthetic materials was a concern initially until the sample came out. Movement and structure turned out much better than 100% synthetic linings. The challenge now remains with the ribs. It’s not a new question, as it’s been there forever. However, a 100% natural material for the ribs requires research in both knitting methods and gauge techniques. For 2 months, going back and forth with different factories across prefectures in Japan, I’ve tested a range of samples which I will be sharing soon. Thank you, as always.
