“Stay delicious.” — Marquise Miller Fashion stylist and costume designer Marquise Miller has redefined one word: delicious. He uses it to describe things he loves. A bite to eat. A warm and cozy knit. Journaling. These are a few of his favorite delicious things. “It’s is all about self-care and self-preservation,” he says. “Doing things that make you feel good.” Naturally, his advice to other creatives (and his younger self) is delicious as well: “All of those moments where you're like ‘Should I?’ You should. And keep it delicious.” ___ We followed Marquise around Los Angeles for the day, as part of our series highlighting the Gap community. “I love clean, simplistic, everything ’90s.” — Marquise Miller Vintage is a constant source of inspiration for stylist and costume designer Marquise Miller. Not only when it comes to sourcing pieces for his clients — vintage Gap hoodies are a favorite — but also when it comes to getting himself dressed. Marquise recalls begging his mom for a Gap sweatshirt, while walking through the South Bay Galleria mall as a kid. (He got it.) And the things he loved back then still influence him today. Quarter zips. Denim on denim. A classic trench. “I love an all-American look,” he notes. “I just try to stay true to whatever it is I’m feeling.” ___ We followed Marquise around Los Angeles for the day, as part of our series highlighting the Gap community. Meet Marquise Miller. Marquise Miller is a fashion stylist, costume designer, and creative. In 2016, he started Millers Room, where he sold vintage at Melrose Trading Post every Sunday for four years. Soon he gained a loyal following where familiar faces would shop with him every week. On one of those Sundays, he landed his first brand deal — launching him into a world of magazine editorials and high-profile clientele. “Community is responsible for my success,” he admits. Today, Marquise is styling your favorite actors, artists, and athletes, and he plans on pushing himself even further in the year ahead. Creating and expressing himself in new ways. "2026 is the year of risk-taking,” he says. ___ We followed Marquise around Los Angeles for the day, as part of our series highlighting the Gap community. @EBINUM BROTHERS vision. Every creative story starts with a spark. For movement artists Victory and Marvel Ebinum, it’s something that happens naturally. “Inspiration comes from our everyday life,” they tell us. “Our view of the world. And the stories we come across.” That POV has shaped the brothers’ signature dance style and their latest: a short film, “Unearthly,” set in Nigeria where they were born and raised. The film moves between the beauty of rural Nigeria and the modernity of urban areas, capturing the duality of the brothers’ journey. Touches of green symbolize growth. Soft lighting creates a dreamlike atmosphere. Every moment is an expression of their story, their way. Through movement. Music. Words. We partnered with the brothers to bring the film to life. Take a look through their lens on set. In Gap essentials. Link in bio to watch the full film. Shot by Raphael Uwakwe
@EBINUM BROTHERS on set. Victory and Marvel Ebinum are the powerful creative duo behind “Unearthly,” a new short film. While the Nigerian brothers are known for their mesmerizing movement, this marks the first film which they scored, choreographed and directed. “It’s the first time we’ve been able to express all three of our art forms in one,” they told us, as they took us behind-the-scenes for this making of. The 13-minute film is structured as one continuous story, told in three sections that flow into each other — much like the brothers’ own flowing movement throughout the story. The first portrays the normalcy of the world, the second centers around the feeling of being seen, and the third explores how self-expression shapes the world around us. All told through the lens of the brothers and their personal story and experience. The end result is stirring and ethereal — fitting of its “Unearthly” title — and one we’re proud to have partnered with the brothers on, helping their vision come to life.
