Black owned travel businesses that I will continue to choose over and over. You should too. Especially if you are a solo female traveler!!! 🌅The sunsets are gorgeous. The drinks are strong. 🍹The pineapple taste like candy. 🍍The water is 100 shades of blue. 🌊The people are so nice. 🥰 I finally got to try Jamaican oxtail and some authentic beef patty & jerk chicken.🍗 Learned that bombaclaat basically means “as$ wipe” 😂. That there is no such thing as “fast food” in Jamaica. And that KFC isn’t the same in JA as it is everywhere else. (It’s better but isn’t fast!)🤣 Also that a lot of Jamaicans grew up in extreme poverty and theres still a lot of poverty there. Also that all RIU resorts in JA are built on what used to be plantations… 🫥 I understand now why the girlies be sayjng “TAKE ME BACK!” 😂😂😂 I’ve felt refreshed and revived since returning.
