In 2011, the shop owners petitioned the city of Worcester to rename a private lane adjacent to their building. They wanted it renamed from Marmom Place to Lois Lane, after Superman’s or Clark Kent’s longtime love interest. It was abandoned for 2 decades until, in 1988, it was acquired via an auction. The new owners moved the structure, but never were able to operate a business out of the milk can because it was moved on to contaminated land. This church was built in 1891 and it was abandoned in 1905 when the Wachusett Reservoir was completed. It used to be the hub of a village, a village that was flooded because of the reservoir.
