With advice overload via "experts" on IG, TikTok and YouTube, it's hard to know what to do - let us help you demystify. This week: TAKE A LONG TIME TO SHOP.... This might sound like a joke, but hear us out, your over-preparedness is actually hindering you in finding your gown. New collections pop up all of the time, things change, lead times also change...taking a long time to shop only encourages you to second-guess yourself. The goal is to be CONFIDENT in your decision, all the time waiting before sealing the deal is tempting fate. SO unless you have a legitimate reason to take more than a month to shop, give yourself a month max, aim for 3 shops total, and give yourself a deadline to make the decision (choosing to extend your shopping time only if you feel it's needed). SEPT NYBFW // #septbride was a chic A/F affair. It started with martini hour - cocktail party reveal of their latest collection. Then to their studio for 1:1 time with the #sarahseven herself to go over the collection in detail. It didn't disappoint. Plenty of snatched waists, casual bride vibe but with a definite luxury edge. We're excited to see this in the studio next year!
