We landed at the same time, so I guess I can say we traveled together

its not what i usually post here but… #rio

was on my way to Rio de Janeiro to see the show she was going to do in two days. I had bought my tickets five months earlier and had no idea there was a chance I’d arrive at the same time as her or that she would actually stop to meet fans. I hadn’t slept for three days, and when I landed, I overheard some people saying a crowd was waiting for her at the international arrivals. I ran, and everyone was gathered at the main entrance (in the center), but I noticed a security guard heading toward the side where there was another entrance. I followed and managed to get in front. Just a few minutes later, Lana Del Rey, Chuck, and Charlie arrived and spent over an hour talking to everyone there. I’ve never seen an artist treat fans in such a human way. To this day, it feels surreal that I talked to her, that she asked for my name, repeated it, and even looked at my fanpage on my phone. She told me she wouldn’t forget me and she didn’t. A few months later, she followed me on Instagram and has interacted with me a few times since. It’s so special to be a fan of someone who truly sees and values your love and effort 🥺
