earlier this year, i never thought i’d post my face so openly. wala naman kasi akong plan. i’ve always been a writer, not someone who needs to be in front of the camera. back then, people would tease me, threaten to reveal my photos, even made a nickname out of my initials. i used to think, “mag-reveal na lang kaya ako para matapos na?” pero for years, i held back. i wanted to protect a piece of myself i wasn’t ready to give away. then may 15th came, and i finally shared my face, all while i wasn’t even at home. naloka pa ako kasi nasa nlex ako when this happened, on my way to meet my boyfriend’s parents for the first time!! hindi ko alam kung paanong hindi ako nag-panic kahit gusto ko na lang umiyak kasi… how dare you?! hindi man lang pinagpabukas?! hahahaha anywaaaay, four months later, i can say with all the love in my chest that no one had power over me aside from ME. i got to decide what to show, when to show it, and how :’) wala lang. i’m just so happy i posted my own photos (where i actually find myself decent syempre, at hindi cropped kasi kawawa naman ang mukha ko nyan) all on my own terms 🤍✨ ps. sure ako na marami pa ring nagkalat na mukha ko jan, pero sorry na??? hindi naman nakakamatay ang pagiging pangit diba?! 😭 ang salbahe nyo rin eh no hahahahahaha celebrating #INKSteaDAY and 5 years of writing with all of you today ~ #inksteady #wattpadph
