Healing anxious attachment isn’t about becoming cold, emotion less or indifferent. Its about creating safety within yourself vs chasing it externally: 1. I learned how to feel secure without closing my heart or the need to shut down my emotions just to feel secure and in control 2. I stopped over explaining my needs in order to feel understood 3. I let people show me who they are instead of trying to fix or save them. 4. I stopped reacting right away and impulsively, so now what i do instead is taking some space to calm down my nervous system and give myself enough time to make the right decision. 5.
